Abstract: Since 1945, the United States has contributed $98 billion to the IMF and the multilateral development banks (MDBs) and it has subscribed an additional $96.6 billion in callable capital. The procedures the United States uses to fund its financial support for these institutions varies from organization to organization and are described in this report.
