Krouse, Celinda Franco, and Nathan James, Domestic Social Policy Division Abstract: On June 25, 2008, the House Appropriations Committee approved a draft FY2009 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies (CJS) appropriations bill that would provide DOJ with $25,438.7 million. Not counting the recent supplemental, the House amount is 7.8% greater than the FY2008 enacted level and 10.2% greater than the FY2009 Request. On June 19, 2008, the Senate Appropriations Committee reported an FY2009 CJS appropriations bill (S. 3182; S.Rept. 110-397) that would provide DOJ with $25,778.6 million.
