Abstract: This report presents detailed tables showing the distributional effects of 12 Social Security solvency options on Social Security beneficiaries in 2035 compared with current law. The 12 options presented fall into 6 categories of reform proposals. For some reform options, two or more variations on how they could be approached are presented. They include the most commonly discussed or introduced proposals to improve cash flow and achieve Social Security solvency:
