On June 29, 2006, the Senate incorporated S. 1021, the Workforce Investment Act Amendments of 2005, as amended, into H.R. 27 and passed its version of H.R. 27. The bill was reported by the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions on September 7, 2005 (S.Rept. 109-134). On March 2, 2005, the House passed H.R. 27, the Job Training Improvement Act of 2005, its version of WIA amendments.
