Legislation has been introduced to provide trade promotion ("fast-track") authority to the President, to rewrite export control provisions, and to revise trade remedy laws. Other items of note include congressional approval of bilateral trade agreements with Jordan and Vietnam, and the reauthorization of certain trade preferences.
