Abstract: In one form or another, legislation dealing with inside sales workers has been before the Congress at least since the 103rd Congress. On June 6, 2001, Representatives Tiberi and Andrews introduced H.R. 2070, the "Sales Incentive Compensation Act," and the following day a hearing on the bill was conducted by the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections. On June 27, the Subcommittee marked-up the bill, approved it, and voted to forward it to the full Committee on Education and the Workforce.
