Abstract: There are currently 690 natural and cultural sites from around the world on the World Heritage List, including twenty U.S. sites. The World Heritage in Danger List currently has 30 sites worldwide, including Yellowstone National Park and Everglades National Park. This paper discusses the World Heritage List and recent issues of concern.
